Heart Bicycle Valentine

Here's a quick, simple card I made with the cutest little bicycle that I found in the Silhouette Store.  It's cut at 2.7" and anchored on a strip of October afternoon washi tape.  The cute little hearts were cut with My Creative Time's Stitched Heart Layering Dies, and the sentiment is from MCT's Lots of Love stamp set!

MCT Scrapping the Little Things!

Today on My Creative Time we are "Scrapping the Little Things!"  We are showing off what we're up to with Project Life, SMASH Books, etc.  I started doing Project Life last June, and I'm having a lot of fun with it!  I don't do a picture a day, but I try to have a spread for each week.  Sometimes I'm not very good at remembering to take pictures, and then I'll do a couple week spread.  There are definitely no rules for this!

This layout is of the day my son got his driver's license.  This was such a huge occasion that it deserved its own page.  I used my new Project Life Core Kit - Seafoam Edition for all of my cards.  I tend to use one type of product for each spread, whether if it's from a Project Life core kit or another manufacturer, but I don't feel the need to use it in my entire album.  I like to mix up my colors and patterns!  As you'll see, there are a ton of My Creative Time stamps and dies that are PERFECT for Project Life!

To make this title, I used Silhouette Studio to weld together "best day" using the LaurenScript font and "ever" using the Haettenschweiler font.  I cut it in black and then also cut "ever" again from a patterned paper scrap that coordinated with my page colors.

To dress up this card a bit, I added a cute little heart from My Creative Time's Stitched Heart Layering Dies and a sentiment from Cherish This Moment.

This little card was fun to make.  I put a strip of license plates from the Simple Stories Awesome 6 x 6 paper pad and added a couple of cute Studio Calico car wood veneers.  The blue strip was made with the ekSuccess Bumpy Roads Edger Punch.  I added two flags.  "Freedom," from MCT's My Little Firecracker Stamp Set (I had to mask off part of the sentiment), is stamped on a flag cut with the die from Chocolate Greetings. "Congratulations," from Vintage Sentiments, is stamped on the die from Vintage Stitched Label Dies.

Here I used the ekSuccess Zig Zag Punch to add a little interest to the top of the card.  I then stamped the hand from MCT's Cherish This Moment, along with the sentiment and cute little glasses from Here's Lookin' at You!

Take Care of Yourself

Here's a sweet little 4 1/4" square card that I made for somebody going through a rough time.

For my focal point, I used the My Creative Time XL Label Die to cut the kraft layer, and then used the Stitched XL Label Die to cut the blue and green patterned layers.  I trimmed the green one with the Martha Stewart Icicle Punch before adhering it down.  The flowers are a mix of My Creative Time and Papertrey Ink.  The red part of the flowers were made with the MCT Flower Petal Dies, and the stem and the circles were made with PTI's Heart-2-Heart #12 Dies.  I stamped the circles with the coordinating Heart-2-Heart #12 stamps.

This sweet sentiment is from MCT's This & That stamp set.  The patterned paper on this card, Echo Park's Scoot, is from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique.  If you haven't been there for a while, stop by!  She's got lots of awesome products these days!
