Apple Thank You

Here's a little 4" x 4" thank you card I made with with Papertrey Ink's Apple Prints stamps and dies.  I stamped the background with PTI's Background Basics:  Woodgrain stamps and then added a few Neat & Tangled sequins.

My Creative Time 33rd Edition Blog Hop

It's shopping day!!!  Aren't you so excited about this My Creative Time release?  I'm so happy that it is summer and I have lots of time to keep playing with it!  There is so much to do with these sets!  You should have arrived here from Emma's blog.  If you just happened upon here, head back to see the full release!

I used the Happy Thoughts stamp and die set for today's 3 1/2" x 5" card.  It was very easy to make.  I took a 3 1/4" x 5" piece of white cardstock and adhered a pattnered piece of paper to it that was cut at a diagonal.  Then I lay the "thanks" die from this set on the diagonal and secured it to the cardstock with a bit of washi tape before running it through my Vagabond.  I adhered the resulting piece of cardstock with the "thanks" missing to my card base, die cut "thanks" again out of blue cardstock, and adhered it into the opening left behind from my first cut.

I then stamped "many" and the cute little hearts using stamps that come with this set.  The heart dies also coordinate with the MCT Stitched Heart Layering Dies, so I know I will be using them with those a lot as well.  Below is a look at the entire set.  It's a fantastic one for making quick and easy cards!

MCT June Sneak Peek #4

Okay dog lovers, today's My Creative Time sneak peeks are for you!  There are three adorable new sets being sneaked today, and I used one of them for my card:  Loyal Friends, which has the cutest stamps and dies!

How cute is this puppy?  He's just one of three included with the dies in this set!  And how about that doghouse that can be dressed up with different doors?  I added some grass to my card using the MCT Stitched Grass Die.

I just love the little thought bubbles with the bone inside.  So fun!

And the perfect sentiment!  One of four included in this set.  This is a great set to use with your kids!  I will definitely be buying it for my crafty little niece for her tenth birthday this December.  We got her a Cuttlebug a couple of years ago, and she LOVES dogs.

MCT June Sneak Peek #3

It's another day of My Creative Time sneak peeks, and today's adorable stamps and dies all have to do with bees!!!  Aren't they the cutest?  To start off my card today, I stamped the MCT Cartoon Cloud Background Stamp on white cardstock with soft sky ink.  Then I cut out a branch with my Silhouette.

One of the sets we are sneaking today is the Stitched Bees & Beehive Dies.  That's how I made the adorable beehive hanging from the branch and this sweet little bee.  I stamped the bee with a coordinating stamp from another set I am sneaking today, Bee Happy.  The sentiment is from Bee Happy as well!

Here's another sweet bee made with this set; there are four in all!  I made the little trail using a stamp from MCT's Fun Paper Airplane Die.

MCT June Sneak Peek #2

Did you love everybody's projects yesterday?  Well get ready for the ultimate summer sneaks today!  Emma and the My Creative Time Design Team are giving you a glimpse of two new sets being released on Friday, and I used the new Surf's Up for my fun summer card!  

I've been dying for surfboard stamps and dies, and they are finally here in this set!  Aren't they adorable?  I love the fun stamp patterns!  I made a little sign using a die from MCT's Just Simply Live and one of the sentiments from Surf's Up.  I used part of the Stitched Umbrella Die to make my signpost. 

The adorable beach ball is another die from Surf's Up!  So cute!  I made my colorful beach umbrella with the Stitched Umbrella Die.
