Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! I have a card today that was inspired by my design team sister Leanne, who put together the witch hat and shoes with the label die in this way back during the September release week.  Isn't it the cutest? 

The whole little "witch" was made with the My Creative Time Wicked Fun Dies, except for the label, which was made with the dies from Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More.  I used a couple of the rectangular frame dies for my card base as well.

MCT Thrifty Thursday

It's Thrifty Thursday with My Creative Time!  Today's the day to use up your scraps!  I went through my patterned papers scraps to make some little die cuts using the Stitched Mini Frame & Arrow Dies and the smallest of the 3 Star Stitched Dies for my card today.  Then I stamped a sentiment from It's All About You to my frame and added lots of paint splats from Family is Everything on my card base. Quick and easy card for a boy!

I Scream, You Scream...

I have yet another student birthday in my classroom this week!  For this one I pulled out my Papertrey Ink Comfort Food dies and stamps and made a stack of colorful ice-cream bowls!  I cut a little slit in the top of each one to help them stack.  For the ice-cream carton, I die cut it out of hibiscus burst cardstock and then heat embossed the stamped image with clear embossing powder.  All of the sentiments are from the Comfort Food Additions stamp set.  The little banners were made with PTI's Double-Ended Banners Die, and I stamped a background on them using PTI's Ribbon Tails stamp set.

Creeping by...

Here's a fun little Halloween card!  I started with a 3 1/2" x 5" white card base, and then stamped the Papertrey Ink Background Basics: Random Stripe down the side, which I'd inked up in three shades of Hero Arts inks.  Then I heat embossed a sentiment from My Creative Time's Trick or Treat with black embossing powder.  Lastly, I added a web and spider made with dies from MCT's Wicked Fun Dies.

MCT 37th Edition Release Blog Hop!

Are you ready?  It's hopping and shopping day!  All of the wonderful My Creative Time stamps and dies that we have been sneaking this week can now be purchased!  If you just happened upon my blog, you might want to head over to Emma's blog, which is the beginning of the hop.

I have two cards for you today!  First is a cool winter scene.  I created a background by using one of the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies with some Aqua Mist cardstock, layering some "snow banks" made with one of the Fun Stitched Edges Dies.  The snowflakes were heat embossed with white embossing powder using stamps from the new Winter Cheer stamp and die set!

I made my beautiful trees with dies from the new Seasonal Greetings stamp and die set.  I just love them!  That pretty music bar stamp is from the new Oh Deer stamp and die set.

This gorgeous reindeer is just one of the deer dies from Oh Deer.  I love the variety in this set!  I call this one the "elegant" deer.

And lastly, the perfect sentiment, also from Oh Deer.

Here's another little card for you today, using the Christmas Doggie stamp set, today's Freebie (see details below)!  I just love this little pooch!  I stamped him onto a hexagon made with the hexy die from Stitched Honey Comb and then colored him with copic markers.  I then die cut more hexagons from My Mind's Eye Christmas patterned paper and tessellated them around the original hexagon.  After that, I used one of the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies to turn the whole thing into a rectangle and then mounted it onto a card base.
