Beers to You!

My brother turned 40 last week, and I found this fun "Beers to You" card in the Cricut Craft Room.  It actually said, "Beers to You, Dad," but I cut off "Dad" and added "John."  I then stamped "40 years" using the My Creative Time Alpha Pack.

On the inside I added a pocked using MCT's Tag Gift Pocket Die so I could include an iTunes card.

MCT What a Treat Wednesday

It's What a Treat Wednesday with My Creative Time, and today I whipped up a fun little apron treat box that I found in the Silhouette Online Store, designed by Lori Whitlock.  How cute is this with the little baker's tools tucked into the pocket?  I thought it would be just perfect to decorate with some of the latest MCT products!

I used the new Sweet Wishes stamps and die set to decorate the pocket.  Some of you lucky ducks may have received this set free with your May MCT order!  If not, it is available for purchase now.  I love the combination of fonts with the "Sweet" die!

I decorated the potholder with the "XOXO" stamp from the new Light the Candles set and added a heart made from the Stitched Heart Layering Dies for an extra special touch.  This is a nice sized box for giving a generous amount of treats to a friend!

MCT Tag It Tuesday

It's Tag It Tuesday with My Creative Time, and I have a fun little tag I made for a sweet birthday boy who is turning three!  I made the base of the card using the Tag Dies and Tag Die Layers.  The fun robot is from Best Bots Forever, and the balloon is from Stitched Party Dies.  I layered both of them on second layers of fun foam to give them extra dimension.  The number three was cut from Number Fun Dies + Add Ons, and the fun sentiment is from Best Bots Forever.

MCT 43rd Edition Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the My Creative Time 43rd Edition Release Blog Hop!  You should have arrived here from the very talented Jessica.  If you just happened upon here, you might want to head over to Emma's blog, to the beginning of the hop.  This is a very fun release, and I hope you are as excited about it as we are!

I have two cards for you today, and for both of them I used the new You Make My Life Sweet stamp and die set! For this first one, I kept it clean and simple, die cutting a rainbow of cones for my 4" x 9 1/4" card (perfect for a business sized envelope) and added one of the sweet sentiments from this set!

Next I made a silly little card.  I started by making a white frame using the Stitched Rectangular Framed Dies.  I cut the frame three times to make it nice and thick.  Then I die cut my spilled cone from You Make Life Sweet.  This set comes with some happy face stamps, but I was able to  turn one into a sad face by masking off the smile and then turning it upside down to make a frown.  I thought the "Oh snap" stamp and die from Fun Speech Bubbles was just perfect for the spilled cone.

I stamped this sentiment from Treasured Moments on the inside of the card and added a little cherry made with a die from You Make Life Sweet.
