MCT 44th Edition Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the My Creative Time 44th Edition Release Blog Hop!  You should have arrived here from the very talented Jessica.  If you just happened upon here, you might want to head over to Emma's blog, to the beginning of the hop.  This is a very fun release, and I hope you are as excited about it as we are!

For my card today, I used the adorable new stamp and die set, Already Missing You.  Isn't this flamingo the sweetest?  To turn her into a birthday flamingo, I added a party hat made with a stamp from Tweet Me and a die from Fun Tweet Me Dies.  I then colored the whole thing with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens and a water brush and popped it up on a second die cut made with fun foam.  The background panel was cut with one of the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies.  I added the "bird-day" sentiment from Already Missing You and the "one of a kind" from Tweet Me.

MCT 44th Edition Sneak Peek #4

It's our last day of My Creative Time June Sneak Peeks, and Emma saved my favorite for last!  It's the most adorable baby stamp and die set, called Hello Baby!  We have 5 pregnant teachers at the school where I teach, so I will be getting a lot of use out of this set! Hello Baby includes a large onesie die that is perfect for making a shaped card.  I cut it three times for my card.  Twice out of pink carsdtock, scoring the back one near the top and putting some adhesive at that top fold to attach it to the front layer.  The third cut was made with polka dot patterned paper from Echo Park's Bundle of Joy collection.  Hello Baby also includes other darling dies with coordinating stamps, including this adorable elephant, which I colored with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens before attaching him with some dimension adhesive.

There are lots of sweet sentiments included in the set, such as the one I stamped on the inside of this card!

MCT 44th Edition Sneak Peek #3

It's another day of My Creative Time Sneak Peeks, and today we are showcasing a very fun set called Already Missing You.  How cute are these flamingos???  I stamped them on watercolor paper and colored them with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens.  In between them is a heart made with one of the Stitched Heart Layering Dies.  Already Missing You comes with lots of sweet sentiments, like the one I used on this card.  It also includes not just the flamingo stamps and dies, but the flower and leaves that I used as well.  So fun!

MCT 44th Edition Sneak Peek #2

It's Day 2 of My Creative Time Sneak Peeks, and today we have a darling little set to share with you that is just perfect for weddings, anniversaries, and even birthdays.  It's called Wishing You Both the Best.  It includes lots of sentiments, along with these cake, flower, and heart stamps and dies (and even a candle one too, which I didn't use on this card)!  I stamped the cake and accessories onto watercolor paper and colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens.  Don't you just love the sentiment?  This is definitely a must have set!

MCT 44th Edition Sneak Peek #1

It's Sneak Peek Week with My Creative Time!  I had a blast playing with this release over the weekend, and I think you will love it too!

Today we are showcasing a fun new die set called Bunch of Stitched Doily Dies.  This set includes 4 beautiful doilies of various sizes, and even a die to turn them into buttons!  I used the three smallest sized dies on my card today.  I think these doilies will be showing up on lots of my cards!  The sentiment I used is from the Window Sentiments & Flowers stamp set.

Wobble Cupcake Birthday Card

Happy Summer to me!  Today is my last day of school!  Yay!  Here is a card I made for one of my students who has a summer birthday.  We celebrated him this week.  I made his fun star shaped card using the My Creative Time Bunch of Stitched Star Dies.  The papers I used are from Echo Park's Birthday Wishes collection (the boy version).  So cute!

I made the cupcake using MCT's Light the Candles dies and put it on an Action Wobble.  Can't go wrong with some wobble action!

The inside of the card is stamped with the perfect sentiment from Light the Candles.

Have a Sweet Day!

I played some more with my new Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens on this birthday card for a sweet friend.  They worked great for coloring this ice-cream cone from My Creative Time's You Make Life Sweet stamp and die set.  You just add a little color and then spread it with a water brush pen to get a great watercolor effect.  I did the same thing with the oval, which I made with MCT's Scalloped Stitched Oval Dies.  The sentiment is also from You Make Life Sweet.  Some Pink Lemonade sequins from Neat & Tangled finished it off!
