You Make Me Smile

To make this 3 1/2" x 5" thank you note, I pulled out one of my older Papertrey Ink sets:  Heart-2-Heart #12.  I stamped the leaves onto a piece of light blue cardstock before using my sewing machine to stitch a piece of patterned paper to the bottom for some grass.  I then used the coordinating dies for the flower tops and popped them up with some dimensional adhesive.  The sentiment is from PTI's Signature Greetings.

Cozy Winter Birthday

I just love this Quilted:  Winter Die from Papertrey Ink!  I die cut it once with white cardstock and then again using a watercolor piece that I made with lots of Tim Holtz distress inks.  I then pieced it together on top of a tag made with the PTI Tag Sale:  Quilted Die.  The sentiment is from PTI's On Ice stamp set.

MCT Tag It Tuesday

Hello!  It's Tag It Tuesday with My Creative Time!  I have a fun tag I made to put on my niece's birthday present.  I just love the new Stitched Postage Frame Dies, and I thought it would be fun to use one of them as a tag base.  I pulled out the Already Missing You stamp and die set to make the cute flamingo, adding a hat from Tweet Me and Fun Tweet Me Dies.  I colored both of these with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens and cut an extra layer of the die cuts out of Papertrey ink coasters for some added dimension.  Since I made this tag in the midst of my Christmas wrapping, I woke up one morning with the idea of die cutting the cute little shopping bag from Classy Girl Accessories and adding a bit of tissue paper behind it to make it look like a real gift bag!

Wish Big Plaid

This was a fun birthday card to make!  I started by using the Papertrey Ink Background Basics Super Stripes stamp set to make my plaid background.  To get the wide green stripes, I masked off the area with post-it tape and used a mini ink blending tool with distress ink.  Once the plaid was complete, I used the largest of the My Creative Time Stitched Postage Frame Dies to trim down the piece and then mounted on a white card base.  The "Wish Big" die is from MCT's Mini Greeting Dies and is adhered on a frame made with the Stitched Oval Die.  A few Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins finished off the card.
