Botanical Thank You

I pulled out an older Papertrey Ink stamp set, Botanical Silhouettes, to make this card.  I can't find it in the PTI store, so I'm thinking it was one of their anniversary sets.  To add some interest behind the flowers, I stamped the chicken wire fence from the Background Basics:  Farm stamp set.  I then added a frame with the My Creative Time Stitched Square Dies Inside & Out.

Congratulations Balloon Card - MCT Thoughtful Thursday

It's Thoughtful Thursday with My Creative Time, and today I had fun making a congratulations card for a friend who just won a big award!  I started this card by taking a panel of watercolor cardstock and ink blending some Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Tumbled Glass in the center of it.  After spritzing it with water, I flicked on droplets of Mermaid Lagoon and Ground Espresso inks that I had mixed with water.  After this dried, I stamped on my sentiment ballon string, from the Script Words stamp set.  I made my balloon with the smallest of the Stitched Circle Balloon Dies, ink blending it with Mermaid Lagoon ink.

Soccer Birthday Card

My niece recently turned 13, and since she loves soccer, I knew I needed to make her a soccer themed card.  I thought it would be fun to use the Papertrey Ink Cover Plate:  Hexagon Die to make a soccer ball background by cutting it in black and then again in white, and piecing it together to give it that look.  On top of that I made a cute little tag using the PTI Tag Sale #3 Die.  I made grass using one of the My Creative Time Pretty Edge Dies and stamped a "Happy Birthday" sentiment from MCT's  Prehistoric Holidays.  I was able to make my own "Score" sentiment using MCT's Alpha Pack.  That cute little soccer player was made with a cut from the Silhouette Online Store.

Mason Jar Box Card

Lori Whitlock comes up with the cutest designs for the Silhouette!  I bought this box card cut in the Silhouette Online Store.  It's very easy to put together.  All of the patterned papers I used are from retired Papertrey Ink collections, except the brown stripes, which is from an Echo Park pack I linked below.

I decorated the front of the mason jar with some My Creative Time dies:  Bunch of Stitched Doily Dies and Mini Greeting Dies.  The perfect touch!

MCT Made in Minutes Monday

It's Made in Minutes Monday with My Creative Time, a time to pull out your goodies and make a quick project!  I love the new Showers of Happiness stamp and die set, and it was the perfect set to use to make a quick card for a friend who hasn't been feeling well.  I used a scrap of raindrop patterned paper from Echo Park's Splendid Sunshine collection for my background and layered on a piece of rustic white cardstock that I'd trimmed with one of the Pretty Edge Dies.  On this piece I stamped the sentiment and some hearts from Showers of Happiness.  Then I adhered three cute little umbrellas that I made with the stamps and coordinating dies from this set, popping one up with some foam squares.  Quick and easy!

MCT 65th Edition Release Blog Hop & Sale!

Happy St. Patrick's Day, and welcome to the My Creative Time 65th Edition Release Blog Hop!  You should have arrived here from the very talented Jessica.  If you just happened upon here, you might want to head over to Emma's blog, to the beginning of the hop.  This is a very fun release, and I hope you are as excited about it as we are!

I made my first project in honor of St. Patrick's Day.  I used the new Long Treat Die to make this fun treat box, cutting a window with the label die that comes with it.  I adhered a piece of Papertrey Ink's Clear Cardstock on the inside.  I then added a cute little shamrock, which I made with a stamp and die from You're My Lucky Charm.  The sentiment is from Teeny Tags Holiday, and I stamped it on a die cut made from the Teeny Tag Layering Dies.

Next, I made a thank you note using the gorgeous new Stitched Butterfly Die, our freebie this month! I kept this card pretty simple.  I used the notecard die from Just a Note, but I trimmed off the bottom with one of the Pretty Edge Dies.  I also used a sentiment from the new Make a Splash set, since I just love the fonts in that set!  I finished off this card with a few Pretty Pink Posh sequins.

Here's a closer look at Long Treat Die and Make a Splash.  They are available now in the My Creative Time Store

Starting THIS Friday, March 17th, 2017 @ 8AM PST, our "Freebie" for this release is the AWESOME  Stitched Butterfly Die.  It will be given to the FIRST 75 shoppers!  If you are one of the first 75 shoppers, it will be automatically added to your package at the time of packaging/shipping.  Once the first 75 shoppers come through, the set will be available for purchase.  So if it's for sale in the store, you are not one of the 75.  No exceptions will be made.  This freebie set is not a part of the "bundle" and will be sold separately!
