MCT Anything Goes!

It's Anything Goes! with My Creative Time - a day to pull out your MCT goodies and make whatever you feel like!  I just love the new Healing Wishes stamp and die set, and I thought this sweet image of flowers in a jar would look adorable on a tag.  I stamped it onto Bristol Smooth Cardstock and colored it, using my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens.

I made the tag base using the Just Tags dies.  That little green piece at the bottom was trimmed with one of the More Stitched Edges dies.  Finally, my sentiment is from the Ouch set.

Special Friend Blend

This sweet little card was made for a friend who organized a birthday tea for me.  Don't you just love it when you have the perfect stamps and dies for an occasion?  I used the Papertrey Ink Tea for Two stamp set and dies to make my teapot and the Tea for Two Additions, along with the Teacup Die, to make the teacup.  They are so cute!  To ground them, I cut a little oval using the My Creative Time Stitched Oval Die.  The sentiment is from Tea for Two.

Welcome to the My Creative Time 66th Edition Release Blog Hop!  You should have arrived here from the very talented Jessica.  If you just happened upon here, you might want to head over to Emma's blog, to the beginning of the hop.  This is a very fun release, and I hope you are as excited about it as we are!

I had fun making another bookmark for our hop today!  I can't get enough of the new So Many Books stamp and die set!  For this one, I used the bookmark die to die cut a white bookmark and a small piece of rainbow patterned paper for the bottom.  I also trimmed this piece with one of the Fun Stitched Edges Dies.  I then stamped the sentiment from So Many Books and added a sweet stack of books, which I watercolored with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens.

Here's a closer look at So Many Books.  It is available now in the My Creative Time Store

It's our last day of the My Creative Time 66th Edition sneak peeks!  Tomorrow is the day you can finally see this awesome release in its entirety and get shopping!  But first, we have one last stamp and die set for you to get a glimpse of today.  As a teacher and a huge reader, I'm in love with this one!  So Many Books is just what you need to make adorable bookmarks!  It includes a bookmark die and lots of cute quotes and images, with coordinating dies!

I had fun doing some watercoloring with distress inks to make these bookmarks.  You can see below the colors I used.  The quotes stamped are from So Many Books, as are the sweet little flowers.  The cute little owl is from another new set from this release, Grad Night.  I colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens.

I see lots of bookmark making in my future!  It's so easy to whip up a sweet little one very quickly!

MCT 66th Edition Sneak Peek #3

Are you ready for another day of My Creative Time sneak peeks?  Today's set, Grad Night, is a must have for this time of year.  It has your traditional graduation images with coordinating dies, along with some cute ones too!  And, of course, there are plenty of great sentiments!

I created my own custom-made background for this card, heat embossing the graduation cap multiple times on Strathmore Bristol cardstock and then inking it up with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Mustard Seed.  I trimmed this with the 4" Stitched Square Die and then stamped one of the new sentiments on a Ribbon End Banner.

I just love this cute little worm!  I colored him with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens, heat embossed his cap with white embossing powder on black cardstock, and then cut both with the coordinating dies.  Fun little graduation card!
