MCT Whatever Wednesday

I'm back!  Sorry I've been gone for so long!  It's been a crazy few weeks trying to pull together my classroom and figure out what I'm teaching, since I found out at the last minute I'd have a 3/4 combination this year!  But it's all good, and school started on Monday.  I have a great class, and for today's My Creative Time Whatever Wednesday post, I'd like to share the back to school postcard that I mailed out to each student at the end of last week.

I used one of the Stitched Postage Frame Dies for my base and the Stitched Oval Die to make a little spot to place my cute little bird cut from the Cricut 3 Birds on Parade cartridge.  The sentiment is from Write On, which is an awesome school set.  I was able to make a 3rd grade and a 4th grade version!  I stamped the sentiment onto a speech bubble made with one of the Fun Speech Bubbles Dies.

I made a QUICK and EASY project with this new die set.  I love using our MCT products to make little treats and gifts.  How fun would it be to leave this cute little pencil on a coworker's desk?  To make it, I just die cut one of the fun zig zag tags, "smile," and a heart, all from this set!  Easy peasy!

MCT 3D Wednesday

It's 3D Wednesday with My Creative Time, and I thought it would be fun to come up with a treat design for our next big holiday- Halloween!  The Stitched Favor Box makes a perfect pumpkin, paired with leaves from A Thankful Heart.  I made the tag with the Teeny Tag Layering Dies and a sentiment from Teeny Tag Holidays.  That cute patterned paper is from a discontinued Papertrey Ink set - Halloween Prints.
