MCT Tag It Tuesday

It's Tag It Tuesday with My Creative Time!  It's finally feeling like fall around here, so I thought I'd made a pretty tag that would be perfect to tie onto a Thanksgiving treat!  I used the Tag Dies and Tag Die Layers for my tag base.  The adorable pumpkin is from the Pumpkin Lollipop Holder Die - such a versatile die!  Finally, I made the sentiment using stamps and a die from Build a Fall Wreath.

Celebrate!

I pulled out the Papertrey Ink Celebrate Big stamp and die set for this card, and it was easy to pull together a fun party look!  I used the My Creative Time Scalloped Stitched Rectangular Dies to dress up the background, added a few sequins, and that was it!

MCT Thoughtful Tuesday

It's Thoughtful Tuesday with My Creative Time, and I decided to pull out the beautiful Tulip Frame Die to make a "thinking of you" card.  I adhered the die cut onto a watercolor background that I created using Tim Holtz distress inks.  I then layered this onto one more layer of black cardstock, cut with one of the Stitched Square Dies Inside & Out.  The sentiment is from Mini Spring Greetings.  Since I was using a white card base, I also added a little white heart die cut, made with a die from 4x4 Journal Die + More.  I kind of like how this turned out with a sunset silhouette look!

MCT 84th Edition Release Blog Hop & Sale

MCT 84th Edition Release Sneak Peek #3

The Reindeer Lollipop Holder Die is just too darn cute!  This is another one that would be adorable on your Christmas table!  There are so many cute details here:  The cut lines and then all of the little layers!  I put Glossy Accents on my reindeer's nose to turn him into Rudolph, and then I added goggly eyes to add some more fun dimension.

MCT 84th Edition Release Sneak Peek #2

Are you ready for another day of the My Creative Time 84th Edition Release sneak peeks?  Today we have a new edition in the lollipop holder die series to share with you:  Santa Hat Lollipop Holder Die!

The Santa Hat Lollipop Holder Die is perfect for making a festive Christmas treat!  These would look really cute as placeholders on your Christmas table!  I cut the main piece out of cardstock and then cut the front piece and the white layers out of felt.  I also die cut the holly leaves from Boughs of Holly out of felt for a little extra embellishment, adding a few red rhinestones on top.  The tag was made with the Teeny Tag Layering Dies and stamped with a sentiment from Teeny Tag Holidays.

MCT 84th Edition Release Sneak Peek #1

It's day 1 of My Creative Time's 84th Edition Sneak Peeks!  We have such a fun release for you this month, and I am so excited about today's sneak!  I know so many of us often give gift cards throughout the year, and the new Gift Card Gift Box Die is a great way to package them!

This die actually is a set of two dies - one for the bottom of the box and one for the top!  I just think it is the cutest thing!  I made mine out of some fun Halloween patterned paper so that I could use it to give a gift card for my son for Halloween.  I decorated it with the adorable ghost from the Stitched Spooky Ghost Die collection and then made a tag using stamps and dies from Open if You Dare.  So easy!

You can see how well the gift card fits inside.  There's even room to throw in some candy!

MCT Birthday Palooza

It's Birthday Palooza with My Creative Time!  Perfect timing, because I needed to make a birthday card for one of my students!  I thought she would love a shaped card, so I pulled out the MCT Party Hat Die Set and made one out of the larger party hat die.  The sentiment and bird are from Tweet Me, with the bird die from Fun Tweet Me Dies, and I used the Vintage Stitched Label Die for the sentiment!

Book Thank You Cards

We recently had a book fair at our school, and so many families were very generous in buying books for my classroom!  Luckily I had the perfect stamp and die sets for making thank you cards for them! To make this cute book shaped card, I used the Papertrey Ink Book Cover Card Die.  The stamp along the spine is from PTI's Bibliophile stamp set.  To decorate the cover I used a lot of My Creative Time products:  the "thanks" die from Hello Frame, a sentiment from Thankful Greetings, and pretty leaves from Little Stitched Leaves.

I made a lot of these cards, and I mixed up some of them by using the MCT Stitched Pretty Flowers & Leaves Dies, always a favorite of mine!

Pretty Thank You

This little thank you card was inspired by one I saw by Danielle Flanders.  I loved her idea of using a stencil behind the Papertrey Ink Bitty Bouquet stamps and dies, and those little bouquets are so fun to play with!  The stencil I used is from the Heidi Swapp Stencils Minis Patterns.  The pretty sentiment is from My Creative Time's Floral Sentiments, and I also used one of the MCT's MORE Stitched Rectangular Dies for the backgrounds.

MCT Weird Holiday

It's time to celebrate a "weird holiday" with My Creative Time!  Did you know that October 20th is "Sweetest Day"?  I'm not really sure what that means, but I have the perfect My Creative Time set for the occasion:  Sweet Wishes!  I used it to die cut "sweet" and stamp my sentiment upon the cake that I made with the Birthday Cake Die.  To mix it up today, I created a z-fold card base by cutting my cardstock at the usual size of 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", and then I scored it at 2 1/8" and 4 1/4".  I thought this made for a fun different type of card for the recipient!
