MCT I Need a Favor

It's I Need a Favor with My Creative Time!  There are so many MCT favor dies, and the gift card dies work great too, if you want to give out small Starbucks cards or cards to a local candy store.  I thought that could be fun for our Easter gathering this year! For this project, I used the Pretty Gift Card Holder Die.  This is a great die for making a quick project.  I decorated it with some grass made with the Stitched Grass Die.  Then I pulled out the new Basket Tag Dies set for the bunny and the little frame for my sentiment.  The sentiment is from Basket Tag Sentiments.

MCT 88th Edition Release Blog Hop & Sale

For my project today, I made an Easter card using the bunny face from the new Bunny Lollipop Holder Die.  This face is too cute, I just had to use it on another type of project!  This time I added a bow, made with the Fun Size Scallop Stitched Bow Die.  For the background of the tag, I used some of the Scalloped Stitched Square Dies.  The sweet sentiment is from the new Basket Sentiments.

MCT 88th Edition Release Sneak Peek #2

Are you ready for another day of the My Creative Time 88th Edition Release sneak peeks?  Today we have two awesome new sets to share with you:  Basket Tag Dies and Basket Tag Sentiments!  These are just perfect for making all sorts of Easter projects!

 Today I made a card using both of these sets.  Basket Tag Dies has the most adorable Easter basket and so many dies for things to put inside it!  I chose the cute chick and some eggs.  It also includes a die that coordinates with the sentiments from Basket Tag Sentiments.  I stamped the basket with a fun basket weave stamp that is included in the Basket Tags Sentiments set.  These two sets are going to be so useful for making a wide variety of adorable Easter tags and cards!

MCT 88th Edition Release Sneak Peek #1

It's day 1 of My Creative Time's 88th Edition Sneak Peeks!  We have such a fun release for you this month!  This release is all about Easter, and we are kicking it off with a new lollipop holder die!

The Bunny Lollipop Holder Die is just the cutest!!!  It's very easy to mass produce for your Easter festivities.  It comes with dies for the nose, eyes, and eyebrows, but you can change it up however you want.  Since it cuts the lines for the insides of the ears, it was easy to make those in pink, and I decided to use googly eyes this time!  I also added the perfect little sentiment from Teeny Tags Holiday, stamped onto a die cut made with the Teeny Tag Layering Dies.

MCT Birthday Palooza

It's Birthday Palooza with My Creative Time!  I love this day, because it seems like I'm ALWAYS making birthday cards!  This one is for a boy in my class whose birthday is this week.  I had the idea to make a scene with a birthday whale!  It took a lot of different MCT sets:  the whale and the sentiment are from Get Whale Soon, the party hat is from Tweet Me and Fun Tweet Me Dies, the hook is from You're a Great Catch, and the cupcake is from Mixed Just for You.  I made the circle border and the shape of the card itself with some of the More Stitched Circle Dies.  A little Tim Holtz Distress Ink made the perfect "sea" background!

Birthday Slider Card

I pulled out an older die set to make this card:  the Papertrey Ink Movers & Shakers:  Sliders.  I haven't made an interactive card in a while, and they are always so fun for the recipient!    I made the green base for the slider with one of My Creative Time's MORE Stitched Rectangular Dies and then decorated it with a cupcake from MCT's Celebration Tags and butterflies from MCT's Mini Butterfly Dies.

When you pull the tab, you see the sentiment!  All of the stamps I used are from PTI's Movers & Shakers Sentiments.

MCT Tag It Tuesday

It's Tag It Tuesday with My Creative Time!  I'm just loving the new Celebration Tags set, and I had to pull it out again today!  This time I made a tag with it, but I again made a "smooshed" rainbow watercolor background, because I just love how it makes that cupcake pop! I used every single one of the dies in the set, along with the stamped sprinkles and one of the sentiments.  This really is a great set for making a quick and adorable birthday tag!

I am so excited for this new set!  It seems like I always need to make a birthday tag, and this set with the adorable cupcake and banner dies, along with all of the coordinating sentiments that fit into the banner, is just too cute!  Now, even though this set includes an adorable shaped tag, today I didn't use it, because I wanted to use the rest of the dies on a card!  I used a smooshing technique to make a fun rainbow watercolor background and then added my adorable little cupcake, complete with heart topper!  The sprinkles stamp is included in the set too, and I heat embossed it with platinum embossing powder.  I love the sentiments that fit perfectly in the banner - this one is just right for my niece!
