The school year is coming to an end, and I needed to make thank you cards to go with the little gifts I picked up for my room mothers and aides. I've been wanting to make envelopes on my Cricut, so I decided to try making 3" square cards with coordinating envelopes. The envelopes are from the "Walk in My Garden" cartridge, and the flowers are from "Forever Young".
Recipe
(all materials from Papertrey Ink, unless otherwise specified)
Envelopes: DCWV Stack 6 and Michael's Open Stock paper
Cardstock: Berry Sorbet, Lemon Tart, New Leaf, Stamper's Select White, Plum Pudding, & Spring Moss
Ribbon: Topnotch Twill Berry Sorbet
Sentiment: Mega Mixed Messages
Ink: Dark Chocolate
Card is made from a 3" x 6" piece of cardstock, scored at 3"
2 3/4" x 2 3/4" layer
flower cut at 2 1/2"
Envelope cut at 3"
Very cute cards! Really like the color combinations.

Love these. I am doing similar cards from Forever Young and a purse to put them in. I am wondering which envelope you used on PS and what size you cut it at. I cut mine at 3" but it was too small for the card and it is not rounded like yours. Should I have chosen one of the creative features?

Kerry, I just realized that the Plantin Schoolbook envelope was the one that I ended up not using because I found it more difficult to stick together (it didn't overlap much). I used the envelope from Walk in My Garden on page 129. Sorry about that! However, if you don't have that cartridge, the one I originally cut at 3" from Plantin Schoolbook was the "Roly Poly" one on page 79.
