I pulled out my Janome Sew Mini for this layout. I bought it a couple of months ago for use on cards and layouts, but after using it twice I had some thread issues and gave up. So yesterday I watched the great instructional videos on Youtube and gave it another try. It's definitely not perfect, but I think I'm making progress!
Recipe:
Background Paper: DCWV Summer Dream Stack
Cardstock: PTI Enchanted Evening, Spring Rain, & Pure Poppy
Recollections Brad
Cartridges Used:
Graphically Speaking: "Fourth of" cut at 2.88" and "JULY" cut at 2.41"
A Child's Year: Stars cut at 1.12" and 1.71" and pinwheel cut at 1.82"
Wow, I can't believe how great this layout turned out. I would have thought the background paper would have taken over, but the matting just makes the photos pop! Love that pinwheel!
