Robyn, over at My Pink Stamper, is hosting a winter project challenge. This card has been floating around in my mind since I received Robyn's Winter Punnies stamp set. You can preorder her new stamps now, and they are shipping the first week of September. Click here for more details.
I decided to pair this cute "There's snow place like home" sentiment with the adorable little house from the Joys of the Season cartridge. I also tried sewing some smoke coming out of the chimney. I'm not sure how well it shows up on this background paper, but I kind of like it!
Recipe:
8 1/2" x 5 1/2" PTI Enchanted Ink cardstock, scored at 4 1/4"
4" x 5 1/4" PTI Spring Rain cardstock
3 3/4" x 5" patterned paper from DCWV The Christmas Stack
House cut at 3 1/4" using Core'dinations paper
Handcut snow using PTI Stamper's Select White cardstock
My Pink Stamper's Winter Punnies Stamp Set
PTI Enchanted Evening Ink
White Gelly Roll Pen
Adorable!! I love the DCWV pattern paper. Thanks for sharing.

What a wonderful way to use the background paper. I don't think I would have thought of snowflakes when I looked at it, but with the right elements, it is PERFECT!
