Winter Wonderland Gate Fold Card

Happy Thursday! Today is my day to post on the Creative Critterz Imaginations blog, and I thought it would be fun to try a gate fold card. It was really easy to make. I started with a light green 5 ½” x 11” base, and scored it at 2 ¾” and 8 ¼”. I then cut 4 brown panels (2 for the outside and 2 for the inside) at 2 ½” x 5 ¼” and one 5 1/4" square for the inside.

For my Imagine cuts, I used a shimmery textured Bazzill cardstock. It’s very pretty in person, but it’s hard to get a picture without a glare. Using the Snow Angel cartridge, I cut the boy in layers at 3”. I then used the "cut only" setting to cut 2 scalloped circles from the stock images of the Imagine, the white at 3.5” and the brown at 3.8”. Finally I cut two 5.2” squares from the stock images, flood filled with a Snow Angel pattern. I used these to cut four 2 ¼” x 5” panels to layer on top of the bown panels. The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper’s Winter Punnies stamp set. If you haven't tried these stamps yet, they are awesome! You can actually win one of the My Pink Stamper sets by commenting on any of the posts this week at Creative Critterz Imaginations.

For the inside of the card, I cut a 5" white square and put it on my Imagine mat. I selected the same boy, this time not in layers, at 1" and then flipped him vertically so that he wouldn't end up upside-down on my square. I chose the "print only" feature for this one.
