A Cheery Cherries Card

Here's this week's design team project for Creative Critterz Imaginations. Yesterday, a little girl in my class was wearing the cutest shirt with a row of different colored cherries on it. As soon as I saw it, I knew it would make a perfect card! I decided to make a card sized for a small business envelope and left it without a sentiment so that I can use it for anything. I'll just stamp the sentiment inside when the time comes.

The green base is cut at 7" x 6 1/4", scored at 3 1/2". The black layer is 3 1/4" x 6". To make the red gingham layer, I found a rectangle on the Imagine More Cards cartridge, and filled it with this pattern. I cut it big enough to trim down to 3" x 5 3/4". I then added a black layer, edged with the Martha Stewart Ribbon Loop punch, that is 2 1/2" x 5 3/4".

For the cherries, I used the Preserves cartridge, flood filling them with patterns from Imagine More Cards, and cutting them at 2". A little Stickles and white stitching finished it off!
