Legoland Layout with Imagine More Cards

For this week's design team project for Creative Critterz Imaginations, I made a scrapbook layout completely with the Imagine. I used the Imagine More Cards cartridge, which has some great patterns. It's so easy to use Imagine patterns for a layout, since I know everything will match! I also used the Boys Will Be Boys Cricut cartridge.

The pages are 12" x 12". For all of the squares, I used the rounded square image that comes on the Imagine. I first cut out sixteen 2.3" squares, filling them with three different patterns. I layered them on 2.5" squares, cut from a cream cardstock. The four larger pattern filled squares are 5.2", layered on 5.4" cream squares. The font is from Boys Will Be Boys, cut at 2.3". I used another pattern from the same cartridge for these letters, but I used the "cut only" feature to cut the shadow on brown cardstock.

This cute "Un-frog-gettable" image was cut at 2.3". I cut it as one piece, and then I cut the frog again so I could pop him up.

"Snappin' Good Time" was cut at 2".

This race car is from Boys Will Be Boys, but I filled it with patterns and colors from Imagine More Cards. It was cut at 2.3".

I needed my larger pictures to fit in the 5.2" squares for the layout to work. I cut them at 4" x 4 3/4". Below them I adhered a border, also from this Imagine cartridge, cut at 1.2". I just trimmed it to 4 3/4", so that it would line up just right.

A little bit of corner rounding and some white stitching at the end finished it up! Be sure to stop by the Creative Critterz Imaginations Blog to see what the rest of the design team has created for you this week!
