Crafting With Eric

My 15-year-old son, Eric, wanted to make a card for his girlfriend tonight. I had a few leftover hearts from my Valentine Tree project from last week and told him he could use those. He wanted to make a card himself. In his words, "I picked out the paper, made the dots, stamped the ticket, and stuck it all together with the ATG gun." He even made an envelope using my Kreate-a-Lope, and now he thinks my stuff is "pretty legit".

Recipe:

One 15-year-old boy, the night before Valentine's Day
8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Hawaiian Shores Papertrey Ink Cardstock
4" x 5 1/4" Sweet Blush Papertrey Ink Cardstock
Seeing Spots Cuttlebug Folder
Papertrey Ink Just the Ticket Die
My Creative Time "You Had Me At Chocolate" Stamp Set
Papertrey Ink True Black Ink
White Bazzill Paper for Imagine Cuts (hearts)
Cotton Candy Stickles

  7. Katie, You cracked me up with the recipe. My 14 year old daughters spent the day putting together Target mailboes for their friends today. Love seeing the kids involved in crafting. Tell Eric I am very impressed. I am sure his girl will be too.

  18. Love it and love the fact that he actually made it. My kids just want me to make things for them without them doing any of the work.
