Happy Easter!

For my Creative Critterz Imaginations Design Team post today, I made an Easter card with my Imagine. This card fits in a business size envelope. I used the Imagine Yummy cartridge, because its colors and patterns are perfect for Spring!

My candy jar is cut at 7". I seperated it into layers and first just cut the pink layer. Then I cut the background layer using "cut only" and a transparency to get a clear "glass" look. My eggs are from Doodlecharms. They are cut at 1" and 1.6" and filled with colors and patterns from Yummy. The swirly brown background layer is also from Yummy. To get it, I flood-filled one of the stock rectangles (the 1:2) from the Imagine, cutting it at 4.5". Then I just trimmed it down to the size I needed.

My sentiment is from My Creative Time's "Color Me Happy" stamp set (perfect for Easter). I stamped it onto a little tag that I die cut with the Papertrey Ink Tiny Tags Die and fastened it to my jar with a pretty brad.

Have you seen the Easter challenge on Creative Critterz Imaginations? You still have a few days to enter and have a chance to win a Kate's Kitchen Imagine cartridge!

  7. Hi Katie:
Really like your pie box, I am very dissapointed with cricut because they retired the cartridge Tag,Bags, and Boxes and more. I bought the machine and the cartridge was already retired. so the new people coming in buying a machine can't get some of the cartridges. And like me I dont want to lend mine out.
