Use What You Have

If you're like me, you have a lot of Cricut or Imagine cuts set aside that never quite made it onto a project. For my design team project for Creative Critterz Imaginations today, I decided to use some of these "scraps" to make a card. I started with an 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" brown cardstock, scored at 4 1/4". The turquoise layer is 4" x 5 1/4". To get my 3 3/4" x 5" dotted pink layer, I took a square that had originally come from the Imagine More Cards cartridge, and I trimmed it down and pieced it together. The seam ended up being covered by my ribbon.

The topnote image was a stock image from the Imagine filled with an Imagine More music pattern. The kite also originally came from the Imagine More cartridge, but I added a tag to the end of it. To make the tag, I ran a Papertrey Ink die through my Cuttlebug with a scrap of patterned paper from the Imagine More Cards cartridge. I added a sentiment from My Creative Time's "Turn That Frown Upside Down" cartridge, and that was it! A cute card that used up a few of my scraps!
