Groovy Get Well Card

I've heard some people comment that the Imagine cartridges have very muted colors. That's definitely not the case with the All Wrapped Up cartridge! I just got this one, and I LOVE the vibrant colors! I think the patterns are rather groovy too.

A friend of mine is having surgery tomorrow, so I thought that this pill bottle from Simply Sweet, along with a sentiment from My Creative Time's "Pain Pain Go Away!" stamp set, would make a perfect card for her. My pill bottle was flood-filled with a pattern from All Wrapped Up and cut at 3.6". I used my Gypsy to cut it in red for a blackout layer, hiding all of the cuts in the center of the bottle (there is no blackout feature for this cut). I also cut it again in white at 2.6" to get my pills a bit smaller. My background is made from a 5 x 7 Imagine stock rectangle, flood filled with a coordinating pattern and cut at 4". The little sentiment tag is a medallion on All Wrapped Up. I used the "cut only" feature to cut it in blue at 1.2".

For the inside of the card, I couldn't resist stamping the band-aid image from Emma's stamp set. Here's a look at the rest of the set. I just love it!

  5. Katie, another FANTASTIC card.. Now you have made me want this cart. I love the bright vivid colors. I too think most of the carts have very muted colors.

    Thanks for sharing.
