Throwback Thursday Challenge with My Creative Time!

This is my 2nd post today. Be sure to scroll down to see the My Creative Time Sneak Peak #3. You're going to love today's stamp set!!!

It's Throwback Thursday time, and this week Emma asked us to create a Cricutless project! Not only that, but we had to use the sketch below. For my project, I began with a piece of 11" x 5 1/2" green cardstock, scored it at 5 1/2", and rounded the corners. My turquoise layer is a 5 1/4" square. I then took a 5" square of red cardstock and trimmed it with a ribbon punch. Lastly, I layered a 3 3/4" square of patterned paper on top of that.

For my vase, I tried a new technique called reverse masking that I learned from Eric Lincoln on the Papertrey Ink's "Make it Monday" challenge. Click here to see her video. It really makes for a nice effect.

Finally, my sweet sentiment is from My Creative Time's "Turn That Frown Upside Down" stamp set. I stamped it on a little tag that I made from a Papertrey Ink die.

Here's a look at the rest of this My Creative Time stamp set. Click here for ordering information, and be sure to join in the fun with the Throwback Thursday Challenge!
