MCT November Stamp Release Sneak Peek #2

Before I get started, I'd like to welcome my new followers and visitors from Everyday Cricut, and I want to thank everybody for their sweet comments!  I really appreciate all of you!  The fun continues today with our second My Creative Time sneak peek!  I'm so excited about Emma's new stamp set, Slam Dunk!  My son plays high school basketball, so this has been a need for me for a while.

I began by making a kraft card base that is 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2".  I stamped the basketball image from Slam Dunk around the edges.  I then added a distressed blue patterned rectangle that measures  4" x 5 1/8".

To this I added a 3 3/4" x 5" distressed piece of white patterned paper that I edged with my ekSuccess Binding Edge punch.  Before adhering it to the card, however, I did my stamping.  To give my basketball player the illusion of motion, I stamped him with black ink, and then stamped a 2nd and 3rd time without reinking, moving down and to the left each time.  Both the basketball player and "Slam Dunk!" are from the Slam Dunk stamp set, and the red stars are from the My Creative Time's Anyday Bingo & Crossword stamp set.
