PTI Make It Monday Challenge


This week's PTI Make It Monday Challenge is to create a project using a multi-stamp background technique.  I thought it was the perfect opportunity to play with my PTI Holiday Lights stamp set.  I began by cutting rustic white cardstock at 4 1/4" x 11" (scored at 5 1/2"), rounding the bottom corners, and inking around the edges.  I then stamped three strings of lights and added coordinating bulbs in green and red.  Next I took the snowflake from PTI's Background Basics:  Christmas and stamped it randomly across the card.  To give a little sparkle, I added a gem to the center of each snowflake.


Finally, I cut a red banner shape and stamped "MERRY & bright" from the 2009 Holiday Tags Collection stamp set with Versamark Ink.  Some silver embossing powder added to the sparkle of my card.

    katie, this is SO CUTE! I love the rounded bottom, the snowflakes with the bit of sparkle, the whole thing has a bit of 60's retro feel to it!
