It's the Papertrey Ink January Blog Hop! For this month, we've been asked to post our favorite project of 2011 and then create a new project that was inspired by the first!
My favorite project that I created last year with my Papertrey Ink goodies is this birthday card I made for my mom. I was so excited when Background Basics: Newsprint came out with my mom's birthday (March 10th) built right into it! I also love this card for the bright cheery colors and the fun flowers. You can see more details about it in my original post.
For my new project, I carried over the colors, background stamp and flower theme to create a birthday tag using the Tag Sale #3 Die.
I mixed it up with the flowers this time using felt and real buttons.
I just love this sentiment from Birthday Bash Sentiments, especially how it pops with the white embossing on royal velvet cardstock.
