The staff at my school put together a basket of goodies for one of our coworkers who recently had surgery. I couldn't deliver it without a homemade tag attached, so I whipped this one up last night. For the tag base, I used the Papertrey Ink Tag Sale #3 Die. I first cut the full blue base layer. I then ran the strips of the newspaper print and the clay cardstock through my Cuttlebug with the tag die as well, so that they would get the embossing on them.
I also trimmed the clay strip with the ekSuccess Bumpy Road Edger Punch and then stamped a cute sentiment from My Creative Time's Pain Pain Go Away stamp set.
My cute little flags were made with My Creative Time's Teeny Tag Greetings dies and a couple of toothpicks!

Nice tag. I like the embossing effect around the tag. Need to keep that in mind for the tags I want to make for my students for Valentines.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE what you did with this tag! First the colors I LOVE ~ but love you did all the colors first then ran it thru the Cuttlebug! CLEVER idea ~ I would have never thought about that! Oh the tag ~ great another item I need to add on my list! Best of all those teeny tags ~ so PERFECT! Great job as always!
