MCT 3-D Wednesday & a Winner!

It's one of my favorite My Creative Time events... 3-D Wednesday!  I love making little boxes, and this gable box from the Cricut Tags, Bags, Boxes & More 2 cartridge is the perfect shape to store a set of 3 1/2" x 5" notecards that I made for a friend.  I used my Gypsy to see that cutting the box at 10 1/4" would be the perfect size for my cards.

I was so excited that my new My Creative Time Flower Petal Dies arrived just in time to decorate the box!  I ran them through my Cuttlebug with a variety of colors and curled the petals around my Gypsy stylus before adhering them together and adding buttons from my stash.  The adorable sentiment is from Emma's new Floral Sentiments stamp set, and I stamped it on cardstock cut with her Curly Label Die.  The coordinating frame is from the Inspiring Words {Accents} stamp set.

Here's one of the notecards I made, using another flower and a pretty sentiment from Floral Sentiments.  Be sure to stop by My Creative Time to see what Emma and the rest of the design team have to share with you today, as well as all of the winners from last week's blog hop!

Congrats to my winner of the Echo Park 6 x 6 Dots & Stripes Soda Fountain paper pad!  I will be contacting you for your address!
