I love using this color palette for cards for guys. Something about it just works! Since I wanted the star to hang off the side of my card with it still fitting into an A2 size envelope, I sized my kraft base at 5" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4". The orange base is cut at 5" x 4" and embossed with the Stars Cuttlebug folder. Before adhering it to the kraft base, I stapled some burlap from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique to this layer.
For my sentiment, I cut a tag from My Creative Time's Tag Dies out of cream cardstock. I added the sentiments from Papertrey Ink's Movers & Shakers: Sentiments stamp set. The stars were cut with the PTI Seeing Stars Dies, and the orange one was stamped with an image from PTI's Super Stars Stamp Set.
