Papertrey July Blog Hop Challenge

It's time for the July Papertrey Ink Blog Hop Challenge!  For this month, the challenge is to use some pretty floral images with gorgeous summery colors.

I made a 5" x 7" card using a white card base, a 4 3/4" x 7" simply chartreuse layer, and a 4 1/2" x 7" white layer that was run through my Cuttlebug with the Polka Dots embossing folder.

I thought it would be fun to make some "polaroids" of flowers, so I used the new Fabulous Frames die with patterned paper in summer sunrise and berry sorbet from the Bitty Box Basics collection.  For this "picture," I stamped flowers from Botanical Silhouettes, a PTI anniversary edition stamp set from a couple of years back.  The sentiment is also from this set.

The flowers in this frame are from the Wildflower Garden stamp set.  Love this one!  I added a bow made from Harvest Gold Twill Tape Ribbon.  Be sure to stop by Nichole Heady's blog to see lots more inspiring projects!
