My Creative Time Scrappy Monday!

It's a Scrappy Monday day at My Creative Time, and it was the perfect opportunity to scrap these photos from last Thanksgiving.  Every other year, when my brother's family is in town (they alternate Thanksgivings with my SIL's family), my brother gets great pictures of everybody, including a big family shot that he sets up on his tripod before jumping into the picture!  I mounted my pics on a 6" square of cream cardstock.  The long family shot is 2 3/4" x 5 3/4", and I also added two 2 3/4" squares, one of me with my four siblings, and one of my son with me.

The 12" square striped aqua background is from the Simple Stories Year.O.Graphy Simple Basics paper collection.  I added a 6" x 12" maroon strip from DCWV's The Guy Stack, along with a yellow strip that I punched with my ekSuccess Bumpy Roads punch.

This beautiful sentiment is from My Creative Time's Piles of Smiles stamp set.  I love how great the large size looks on a 12 x 12 layout!  I stamped it onto a 3" x 4" element from the Simple Stories 6 x 6 Harvest Lane paper pack (which Emma is now selling in her store).  I cut the pretty leaves with the dies included in Piles of Smiles.  I cut a few out of cork for this layout, and added some script on them by stamping them with a background stamp from MCT's Script Type Backgrounds.

This cute wheelbarrow is cut at 2", using the Cricut Walk in My Garden cartridge.  I then filled it with leaves cut from the smaller sized die from Piles of Smiles.

Down the side of the pictures, I attached a strip of patterned paper from Harvest Lane, that I edged with the Pinking Shears Border from Papertrey Ink.  On top of that, I added a sentiment from MCT's Camera Shy stamp set, stamped upon a strip of cream cardstock cut with a die from MCT's Just Simply Live.

Here I added a banner element and some patterned paper from Harvest Lane.  "Beautiful Family" was created with stamps from Just Simply Live, as was the date, which is stamped upon cream cardstock cut with the MCT Stitched Oval Die.  I just love having my collection of MCT stamps and dies to use on layouts!

Be sure to stop by Emma's page to see her layout, and all of the wonderful work by some of the other My Creative Time designers!
