Baby Boy Shower Invitation

This past weekend I needed to make 45 invitations for a baby shower we are putting on for a coworker at work. I created a simple layout that would be easy to mass produce.  It's a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" postcard style, with each layer 1/4" smaller.  I used my favorite fonts, Chinacat Thin for the main text and Always In My Heart for the mommy's name.  The actual invitation has the address of the hostess in the center of the card, not that big blank space.

For my focal point, I die cut two circles with my Silhouette Cameo and then added a sweet elephant that made a with a cut from the Silhouette Online Store.  I used patterned paper for his layers and an Imaginisce Glam Rock for his eye.

I didn't want to use up all of my Aqua Mist Papertrey Ink cardstock, so I created the invitation in three different colors.  The patterned strip of paper beneath the circle is cut at 3 3/4" x 1/2".
