MCT October Sneak Peek #1

Are you ready for another great My Creative Time release?  Emma's got lots of fun new products for you, and today I'm sneaking two of them:  Build a Postcard and Postcard Add-Ons.  I thought these would be a lot of fun to use for my 4th of July Project Life layout that needed to be completed.

For my title card, I used the My Creative Time Stitched 4x6 Journal Card to cut my kraft cardstock.  Build a Postcard helped me make a fun border with the curved stitching line, the diagonal stripes stamped in red and blue, and the "Air-mail" stamp.  I also got the curly border that is on the partially covered postage stamp from this set.  The stamps that make up the other postage stamp are from Postcard Add-Ons.  There are so many cute little images and sentiments in this set!  I also used some stars from the old My Little Firecracker stamp set, and I spelled out "4th of July" using the "4" from the Stitched 4x6 Journal Die set and the letters from Lowercase Fun Dies.

This journaling card has more goodness from Build a Postcard!  The little "Post" circle fit just right in the stitched circle from Build a Banner, so I added that with the sunburst shape for a little extra dimension.

For this journaling card, I pulled out some red and blue scraps of patterned paper and cut them with the smallest hexagon from the Stitched Hexy Dies.  I used a sentiment and the die from Just Simply Live as well.
