MCT Scrapping the Little Things

It's Scrapping the Little Things with My Creative Time, and today I've got a layout of a fun day my son Eric and I had last weekend.  He's a senior in high school, and we got to go to an Open House at one of the colleges he's interested in attending next year!

I used cards from the Project Life Midnight core kit on this layout.  For the title card, I added words made from the My Creative Time Lowercase Fun Dies and a cute ticket made with the Fun Tickets stamps and dies.

On my journaling card here, I added a sentiment from Life Is Good.  I also added a cute tab onto my photo with the Stitched Tab Die.  I thought the sentiment from Follow Your Dreams was just perfect for this pic!

I love the sentiment that I put on the photo here, because I really am overwhelmed with how quickly college is approaching!  I made the banner with a die from Vintage Stitched Label Dies.  The sentiment is from Things I Love, and the little heart was made with one of the Stitched Heart Layering Dies.

On the journaling card I stamped a sentiment from Treasure Moments and added a cute little camera that my design team buddy Kim made with washi tape and the Stitched Camera Die.

This card gave the details of where we were.  I cut it out of a brochure we were given with the Stitched 4x6 Journal Die.  Perfect!

  3. Super duper job on your layout. I think you and Eric will see how fast Senior year goes by. Almost half way already! The school sounds wonderful...with a Jones Street and a room that is cleaned once a week...whew! Hard to pass up this one ;) The Washi on the camera is fun!
