MCT ABC Challenge


We have a fun new challenge going on with My Creative Time:  The ABC Challenge!  Just pick a letter of the alphabet and then use as many things as you can on your project that begin with that letter!  I chose the letter "C".  My card base is 3" x 4 1/4", and I made a white layer cut at 3" x 4".  To make a CONFETTI background, I took the soccer ball from the Soccer Stamp Set and used it to stamp my CIRCLES.  Then I hand drew a little stitching around the edge of the paper.


I just found some DCWV CANVAS at Michael's and was so excited to try it out with dies!  It works okay with dies with straight lines, but not with anything intricate.  So, I used it with the square from the 4x4 Journal Die + More.  On top of that I layered a CUPCAKE made with the die from Celebrate Good Times, being sure to include a CHERRY on top!


I found the perfect sentiment to match in the More of My Favorite Sayings stamp set.

    A ball for your stamped circles is perfect. What a pretty card. Fabric can be coated with a fabric stiffener or a coat of white glue and water may be brushed on the back to stop the ravels.

    KAtie ~ Well you ROCKED the letter "C"!! Okay besides the cherry, the cupcake, the canvas but to use the "circles" for confetti using the soccer ball ~ OMG you are BRILLIANT!! I LOVE it! BEAUTFULLY done as always!
