It's another day of sneak peeks for the September My Creative Time release, and today we have a beautiful new stamp and die set called A Thankful Heart, which is perfect to your fall and Thanksgiving projects.
This set comes with four beautiful leaf dies, and I used three of them on my card today. I just love how they include embossing of the veins. I cut them out of white cardstock and then inked them up with some distress inks, which really made the embossing stand out. I added a little button made with the Button Dies and attached all of them to some burlap from the DCWV Burlap Paper Stack. Here's a hint if you have this stack and prefer a more frayed burlap look: you can actually pull the burlap right off the paper backing!
Besides the leaf dies, there is also a die of the word "grateful" that pairs with different words to create sentiments, like I did here. There are many other sentiments in this set as well. It's really a terrific set for the fall season!
