MCT Trending Now Thursday

It's Trending Now Thursday with My Creative Time, and since gold is so hot right now, we're incorporating it into our projects today!  I used it in a Parisian themed birthday card for a friend who just got back from a trip to Paris a few weeks ago!

I cut my banner from the 4x4 Journal Die + More out of gold paper from the DCWV Foiled Solid Paper Stack.  Then I cut it again out of white cardstock, trimmed the white pennants, and adhered them on top to change up the look!

I die cut the Eiffel Tower from Springtime in Paris and then stamped it with the coordinating stamp with Versamark Ink, heat embossing it with Gold Filigree embossing powder.  The leaves and flowers behind it were cut with the dies from Stitched Pretty Flowers and Leaves Dies.

Finally I added a couple more flowers and a sentiment from Springtime in Paris.

Be sure to stop by Emma's blog to see what she and the rest of the design team have for you today!
