Shaker Card with We R Memory Keepers Photo Sleeve Fuse Tool

Over the weekend I caved and bought the We R Memory Keepers Photo Sleeve Fuse Tool.  I had pretty much convinced myself that I didn't need it, but then I saw Jennifer McGuire's adorable shaker card that contained a gift card, and I knew it would be the perfect thing to make for my niece's 17th birthday!  Thank goodness for Amazon Prime free same day shipping, because I needed this ASAP!

The shaker itself is very easy to make, and if you click on the link above to go over to Jennifer's blog, you can see her video on how it works.  I decorated mine with a banner and balloons from My Creative Time's Stitched Party Dies, using a die from MCT's Fun Tweet Me for the strings.  The sentiment is from MCT's Fun Gift Pocket Sentiments, stamped on a banner made from one of MCT's Stitched Decorative Banners.  I ran all of these through a Xyron machine so that adhesive would not show through the back of the shaker.  I filled the inside with some Neat & Tangled sequins and some microbeads before adding the gift card, which has a note adhered to the back of it.

Stop by tomorrow to see how easy this tool is for making shaped shakers, using your dies!
