This month, My Creative Time's Favorite Stamp/Die of the Month is Let's Celebrate, a fun set that is perfect for making party invitations! I used some of the stamps on this Halloween party invitation, along with some cuts from the Cricut Mini Monster cartridge, and a cool LED element, using the Circuit Marker Starter Kit.
I love how Let's Celebrate has the "For/Date/Time/Place/RSVP" all in one stamp, so that you can quickly whip out your invitations. The cute little banner is from this set too! Since this is a Halloween invitation, I couldn't resist adding a spooky spider from Too Cute to Spook. You can see how the card all came together in the video below, as well as learn how to use the circuit marker to light up the monster's eye!
You can see another card that I made with the Circuit Marker Starter Kit here.
If the Let's Celebrate stamp/die set has been on your wish list, you can pick it up at a discount price HERE! This set will be on sale for the entire month of September! The sale will end on September 30, 2015 @ 12:00 AM PST.

OMG Miss Katie...Your invitation is Funtabulous!! OMG how in the heck you came up with your Wicked awesome idea but it sure is a great one. It was fun watching you create it!!
ReplyDeleteYou are just so clever. YOU ROCK!!
Thanks for sharing this new kit and the tutorial, it's a great introduction to circuit card making. I make circuit cards and I install a "switch" the recipient presses to light up the card. I've also installed a "switch" that can be slid to activate the LED, so the LED stays lit without pressing. Cards I made last Christmas still light up nice and bright, which is awesome. I think you could have the same results with this kit.
ReplyDeleteGreat video Katie! Such a great idea to make an eye that glows for your cute card. I have not seen how the craft room works and liked that you showed that too. Fabulous job on your card and video!
