MCT 48th Edition Release Sneak Peek #2

It's Sneak Peek Week for My Creative Time's 48th Edition Release, and today we are showcasing a fun new background stamp called  Best Friends Background.  I tried out a new technique with it, and I really like how it turned out.  First, I heat embossed the stamp onto watercolor paper with clear embossing powder.  Then I added blotches of distress ink all over it, spritzing it with water to let the inks blend together.  Once it had dried, I put the paper between two sheets of printer paper and used my clothes iron to iron off the embossing, leaving a nice smooth, matte look.

Once my background was trimmed and adhered to a white card base, I die cut the "friend" die from the new Friendships are Forever set three times, adhered them together, and added that to the front of the card.  I stamped "feel better" from this set, cut a little flag around it, and adhered it above the die cut.  Finally, I added some turquoise sequins.
