MCT Trending Now

It's Trending Now with My Creative Time, and today we are playing with color blocking!  I thought it would be fun to make a Thanksgiving card and use the pretty fall colors.  I cut strips of Papertrey Ink cardstock that are 3 1/4" x 1 5/16" and adhered them to a strip of brown cardstock that is 3 1/2" x 6 5/8".  Then I sewed up the edges with my sewing machine and stamped on a sentiment from the A Thankful Heart stamp set. I used a leaf die from this same set to die cut a coordinating leaf for each color strip, inking up the edges with some Tim Holtz distress ink in Vintage Photo.

Be sure to stop by Emma's blog to see what she and the rest of the design team have to share with you today, and give color blocking a try yourself!
