It's Trending Now with My Creative Time, and today we are playing with color blocking! I thought it would be fun to make a Thanksgiving card and use the pretty fall colors. I cut strips of Papertrey Ink cardstock that are 3 1/4" x 1 5/16" and adhered them to a strip of brown cardstock that is 3 1/2" x 6 5/8". Then I sewed up the edges with my sewing machine and stamped on a sentiment from the A Thankful Heart stamp set. I used a leaf die from this same set to die cut a coordinating leaf for each color strip, inking up the edges with some Tim Holtz distress ink in Vintage Photo.
