MCT 64th Edition Release Blog Hop!

Welcome to the My Creative Time 64th Edition Release Blog Hop!  You should have arrived here from the very talented Jessica.  If you just happened upon here, you might want to head over to Emma's blog, to the beginning of the hop.  This is a very fun release, and I hope you are as excited about it as we are!

I used a lot of the new sets to make my spinner card today!  To start off, I used one of the new egg dies from Scalloped Egg to die cut a window in my card base and in my white rectangle, which I had trimmed with one of the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies.  Then I used another one of the egg dies to die cut some pretty eggs, which I arranged around the window and topped with an Easter Basket, cut from the Cricut Create a Critter cartridge.  Finally, I stamped the pretty greeting, from the new Favorite Bunny set.

To make the spinner, I used one of the adorable new Mini Bunny Dies to die cut one of the bunnies twice, adhering them together with a piece of sewing thread down the center.  I then taped the thread to my card base with some washi tape before adhering the white layer on top.  If you wind up the bunny before closing the card, it goes crazy spinning with the recipient opens it!
