Cricut Bright Pad Case

I got a Cricut Bright Pad for Christmas, and I was really excited to find Lorrie Nunemaker's YouTube video giving detailed instruction on how to sew a case for it!  Her videos are awesome, which I really appreciate since I do not know how to sew.  This is actually only my third attempt at sewing on fabric (I bought my sewing machine years ago for stitching on cards), and going right to a project with a zipper in it may not have been the best idea.  I think this project took her about 30 minutes, and it took me 6 hours!  However, I did finish it, and even though it's not perfect, I am pretty happy with it!

One of the best parts Lorrie's tutorial is that she has you make pockets inside to hold the power cable and tools!  I got all of my fabrics at Joann's.  For the outside, I bought outdoor canvas, and for the lining, I bought a cotton print.

I also used my Cricut Easy Press to iron on "shine bright" that I purchased on Etsy and cut with my Cricut Maker.  The Bright Pad is so handy to help with weeding!
