It's our last day of the My Creative Time 76th Edition sneak peeks! Tomorrow is the day you can finally see this awesome release in its entirety and get shopping! But first, we have one last die set for you to get a peek at. You're going to love the new Chunky Tag Dies! There are 3 stitched and 3 plain tag dies of all sizes that are so fun to layer or use separately!
I used the two smallest dies to make the tags on the Valentine treats that I gave to my students yesterday. These tags don't have holes, which I love, because you can punch your own, or do something else with them. I adhered mine together and then attached a little Imaginisce Glam Rock at the top to give the look of a brad. The sentiment I used is from the I Adore You Kit. It actually says "Happy heart day," but I cut it apart to fit on the tag and replaced the word "heart" with an actual heart die cut made with one of the dies from 4x4 Journal Die + More. I used another heart die from that set for my signature on the red tag. To make the actual treat holder itself, I used the fun matchbox die from The Perfect Match.

Such a cute project - what did you put in the little matchboxes? Very very clever idea, and glad you pointed out the tag dies don't include holes, which is great since we don't always need or want a hole! So much more versatile this way! TFS! (Samburnett@tisd.net)
ReplyDeleteI think I agree with you when you say you like the fact these dies do not have holes. I also like the fact you added a brad where the hole would go to add the two tags together.
