It's time to celebrate a "weird holiday" with My Creative Time! Did you know that September 6th is "Read a Book Day"? Neither did I! But as a book lover and a teacher, I'm happy to encourage others to read! I made this card using the cute pile of books stamp from the So Many Books stamp and die set. I pieced together my sentiment using stamps from So Many Books for "read a book" and Prehistoric Holidays for "happy" and "day!" The cute little hearts were made with dies from 4x4 Journal Die + More. I watercolored both the books and the background paper with Tim Holtz Distress Inks and then trimmed the background piece with one of the MORE Stitched Rectangular Dies.
Oh Miss Katie...What a Cool and Darling Card you Created!! It is a GREAT Weird Holiday Day!! Hope Everyone Reads a Book!! It is awesome to actually hold a book and turn the pages....!! Your pile of books is so cute and Great Colors and Coloring job!! Love how you used many of Miss Emma's Fab Goodies to achieve your total look!! You sure did a Super Outstanding Creative job!!
