It's day 3 of our My Creative Time Sneak Peeks! Are you ready for more? Today we are sharing the cutest dies ever: Stitched Scalloped Bow Dies! Emma has created two different sizes of these dies. For my candy box today, I used the larger of the two, the Medium Stitched Scalloped Bow Die. To give you a frame of reference, my box is 4 3/4" wide.
Isn't the bow just adorable? To get your signature stitching to always be showing in the right place, this die cuts your bow in two larger pieces that connect together, along with a little piece that wraps around the center.
To make my tag, I used the tag and tab from the Stitched Round Tab, Arrow & Tag Dies and added the adorable little champagne glass, made with a die from yesterday's sneaked All Around Holidays stamp/die set. The sentiment is from Classy & Fabulous. I kept the tag clean and simple to go with the clean lines of the box.
Here's a look at the box from the side. I made this with the Cricut Sweet Tooth Boxes cartridge. The bow is adhered to a belly band made with a strip of white cardstock that can slide off of the box to open it, without destroying the bow.
And on the inside... yummy truffles from See's Candy! I sized my box so that the cutout circles in the insert would be just right to hold the truffles securely. I think my friend who is receiving this will enjoy her little treat!
