Back to School Postcards

I just finished making 16 postcards to send out to my new students to welcome them back to school. Class lists will be posted on Thursday, and I'll try to time these to arrive on Friday. The bird is from 3 Birds on Parade, cut at 3 3/4", and then I added in a piece of stamped binder paper cut at 1 3/4" x 2 1/2".

Recipe:
(All materials Papertrey Ink)

5 1/2" x 4 1/4" Kraft cardstock
5 1/4" x 4" Pure Poppy Cardstock
Simply Chartreuse, Ripe Avocado, Summer Sunrise, and True Black cardstock for the bird
Ripe Avocado, Spring Rain, and Red Poppy Ink
"School Time" Stamp Set
Rustic Jute Button Twine

Bird run through Polka-Dots Cuttlebug folder
Background run through Distressed Stripes Cuttlebug folder

  2. You are so thoughtful. I remember last year when my daughter started 3rd grade, the teacher gave them a bag that had things like a penny, cottonball and other random stuff along with a paper that talked about the use for each item. I loved it and with a sigh of relief, I knew it was going to be a great year! And, it was a really great year! God bless teachers who care!!!
