Best Witches to You!

I had this idea for a Halloween card on my way to work today and couldn't wait to get home to make it! The bird witch is from 3 Birds on Parade, cut at 2 1/2". I used my Gypsy to cut out the Everyday Paper Dolls cityscape at 2.3", first "hiding" all of the windows. The moon is cut at 1 1/4" from Camp Out.

I stamped the polka dots onto the orange paper with Versamark ink and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.

Recipe:

8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Papertrey Ink Kraft cardstock, scored at 4 1/4"
4" x 5 1/4" PTI Plum Pudding cardstock
3 3/4" x 5" PTI Orange Zest cardstock
PTI Rustic Cream cardstock (moon)
Core'dinations & Recollections Halloween Stack (witch and cityscape)

Stamps: My Pink Stamper's Spooky Puns & PTI Polka Dot Basics
Ink: Versamark Dazzle Ink & PTI True Black Ink
Clear Embossing Powder

  5. Thanks for the nice comments! Steph, I used to use a Fiskar's paper trimmer and had the same problem with the Papertrey Ink cardstock. Now I'm using a Making Memories one that I got for 50% off with a coupon at Michael's. It's this one: Making Memories Folding Paper Trimmer, 12''X12''. It works really well and it's self-sharpening, so you don't have to keep going out and buying new blades.
