Get Well Card with the Imagine

For my post for the Creative Critterz Imaginations Design Team today, I made a "Get Well" card using Imagine More Cards and Walk in My Garden. I really love how this turned out with the lighter colored prints contrasting against the darker brown print.

This is an A2 size card, so my base is 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4". I then added a pink mat cut at 5 1/4" x 4". To make the brown patterned mat, I scrolled through the Imagine More Cards images until I found a rectangle that I could fill with this pattern. I played around with the size, checking it on the mat, until I knew it was big enough to trim down to 5" x 3 3/4". I'm looking forward to the day when I can size an image perfectly on my Gypsy and then fill it with an Imagine pattern!

My vase and flowers are from Walk in My Garden. The vase is cut at 1.7", and the flowers are cut with the blackout feature at 1.4", 1.5", and 1.6". All are flood filled with patterns from Imagine More Cards. I freehand cut the stems with some green cardstock and added some buttons and twines. The vase is adhered with some foam squares, and I added a little bow that I made with my new Bow Easy (thanks for the enabling, Lauren!). It actually was easy!

For my sentiment, I used my Double-Ended Banner Die from Papertrey Ink, and just cut it in half so that it would fit my card and sentiment, also from PTI.

Recipe:

Papertrey Ink Dark Chocolate, Simply Chartreuse, and Sweet Blush Cardstock
White Bazzill Cardstock for Imagine Cuts
Michael's Satin Ribbon
Papertrey Ink Vintage Buttons and Rustic Cream Button Twine
Papertrey Ink "Asian Fusion" Stamp Set and Dark Chocolate Ink
ColorBox Cat's Eye Chalk Ink
