Layering Cricut Imagine Patterns

I had a lot of fun making this card using a new technique with my Cricut Imagine and the Teresa Collins Black & White cartridge. I really wanted this cartridge for printing the black patterns on all different colors, but today I realized that I could print them on other Imagine patterns too! My background was made by layering the clock pattern from Black & White on top of the newsprint pattern from Vintage Paper.

My teacup is cut at 3 1/2" from the Kate's ABCs cartridge.


I thought this sentiment went perfectly with the teacup and the clocks! It's from Papertrey Ink, and I heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

Papertrey Ink True Black Cardstock
Core'dinations Textured Cardstock
White Bazzill Cardstock (for Imagine print)
ekSuccess Bumpy Road Edger Punch
Papertrey Ink "Tea for Two Additions" Stamp Set
Versamark Ink
White Filigree Embossing Powder
Versa Magic Jumbo Java Chalk Ink

    Thanks for sharing this. I love it. I have to get both of those cartridges. I just got my Imagine a couple of weeks ago and the Theresa Collins cartridges were a big reason why I got it.

    I love this idea! I wasn't sure about the pattern only cartridges but this has really sold me on the idea. Add 2 more carts to my wish list! :)

    I am so sorry I missed this! But then I missed a lot. OMG... this is beyond INCREDIBLE! I LOVE the look of this ENTIRE card! The colors of the tea cup just pop off the background! I am so lifting this idea! Thanks for sharing such an AWESOME idea! Genius!
