Bunny Birthday Card

Here's another birthday card for one of my students.  The Cricut is the best for making personalized cards for them!  This little girl loves rabbits, and I found a cute cut for her on the Kate's ABCs cartridge.  I mounted it on a mat made from one of the Scallop Stitched Square Dies from My Creative Time and added a sentiment from Papertrey Ink's Birthday Bash Sentiment.  Cute, easy, and fun!

Kitty Birthday Card

Here's a fun birthday card that I made for a friend who has two little kittens!  I found the kittens on the Cricut Kate's ABCs cartridge.  I created my own background by die cutting a square with one of the MCT Stitched Square Dies and then making a hill mask using some masking paper and one of the My Creative Time More Stitched Edges dies.  I then used some Tim Holtz Distress Inks to ink up the hill and the sky, spritzing them with water using the Tim Holtz Distress Sprayer for some added interest.

I next die cut two balloons using one of the MCT Stitched Circle Balloon Dies and inked them up as well.  I hand drew the balloon strings onto the card and added a sentiment from MCT's You Had Me at Meow.

MCT Throwback Thursday "Do Over"

It's Throwback Thursday "Do Over" with My Creative Time!  Today we were asked to pick a card that maybe wasn't our favorite anymore and redo it.  You can see my original below. Both cards use the ice-cream sundae cut from the Cricut Kate's ABCs cartridge.  I decided that the original had too much blank space, so I changed up the whole shape of the card, using the Bunch of Fun Circles Dies to make a shaped card!  I used some hemp with a button, but this time the button was made with one of the Stitched Button Dies.  I chose a slightly different MCT sentiment this time, from Teeny Tag Greetings, and stamped it directly on the card.

Be sure to stop by Emma's blog to see more "do over" projects!

MCT February Sneak Peek #1

It's time for My Creative Time's February Sneak Peek Week!  Emma has the sweetest release for you this month!  Today I'm giving you a peek at a sentiment from Happy Hunting, an adorable Easter/Spring set!  This is an A2 sized card, and I used my sewing machine to stitch my patterned layer to the brown layer.

This adorable bunny cut is from the Cricut Kate's ABCs cartridge, cut at 3 1/2".  It originally had a flower in the grass, but I replaced it with some eggs cut at 1/2" from the Art Philosophy cartridge, to fit my theme.

Here's the sweet sentiment from Happy Hunting.  Isn't that the perfect font?
